I've heard it said like this that your testimony (story) isn't for you but it's for someone else.

We have this beautiful gift to be able to share our story (testimony) and tell about how God has brought you through, redeemed you, and how you were before you met Jesus. The struggles, the pain, the headaches, the sin living all of that has the power to make someone else come to the Lord. 

It amazes me what a testimony does the fact that it's your story no one else but to share it with others may help someone else. 

Your story isn't less than somebody else's it can help somebody else. Don't hesitate to share your testimony with someone or others you never know who it might help.
