 Honoring

The bible calls us to honor our mother and father and what does that look like well it's being obedient not doing something that would bring dishonor to them. Respecting their wishes EVEN WHEN YOU DONT AGREE and gifting them things not that gifts matter more than your love for them but it will certainly make their day.

We live in a culture that kind of dismisses this and we certainly don't get rid of honoring our parents when were older we still do it WHY? because it's a commandment from God meaning it's required of us.

Don't let mothers day or father's day be the only time you honor your mother and father.

I know there are those without an earthly father or mother but just know that God is with you and I pray comfort and peace over you..

“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you."

Exodus 20:12
